Mynell Gardens is a paadise, exhibiting seven acres of azaleas, camellias, flowering trees, exotic plants, and perennials.  There are fish ponds, statues, wooden bridges, an island, swings, and gazebos.

Residents went for a tour of the garden and they had the pleasure of picnicking at the summer house for lunch.  They were amazed at the beautiful, attractive scenery and spotted various species of birds and aquatic life in and around the pond.  Residents also had the priviledge of feeding the turtles and observed the fish in the ponds, those being bream and perch primarily.  It was a wonderful experience for residents involving education and stimulation of everything nature had to offer in Mississippi.
